Apparently that’s ☝ Korean for “I’m so happy”. That’s at least what a reader of this blog send me in a very uplifting email this morning. They noticed that the name I go by — “Ham Vocke” — sounds just like this Korean expression.
The last few days and weeks have been rough. I’m feeling pretty overwhelmed from a lot of things going south or demanding my attention at the moment. My day started with a coffee as bitter as my mood for the last few days, and I was feeling all grumpy and annoyed.
That bitterness resolved when I opened my email inbox. There I found this short email from a stranger on the other side of the planet who just happened to find one of my blog posts and took the time to share this fascinating tidbit with me. Turns out that was all it takes to make me feel so much better today.
To the person who send this email: Thank you so much for taking the time to send this. This one email did a lot for me.
